| The UNESCO Chair for Human Rights, Democracy, Peace and Tolerance in Pune, India has awarded the prestigious Philosopher Saint Shree Dnyaneshwara World Peace Prize to Mr. Hiroo Saionji and Mrs. Masami Saionji in recognition of their noble mission to spread the Culture of Peace in the entire world through the work of the Goi Peace Foundation (http://www.goipeace.or.jp ) and the World Peace Prayer Society (http://www.worldpeace.org ). In particular, the prize committee praised their life-time contribution in promoting a Neutral Peace Movement transcending the boundaries of race, religion and nations beyond politics, through an extensive international network, establishing dialogues and initiatives for world peace.
