Scientist and Kabbalist Michael Laitman received his Professorship in
Ontology and the Theory of Knowledge, and his PhD in philosophy and
Kabbalah from the Moscow Institute of Philosophy at the Russian Academy
of Sciences, and his MSc in Medical Cybernetics from the St. Petersburg
State Polytechnic University.
He was the prime disciple and personal assistant to Rabbi Baruch Ashlag, firstborn son and successor of Rabbi Yehud Ashlag, author of the authoritative Sulam (Ladder) Commentary on The Zohar. In
1991 he has established Bnei Baruch – Kabbalah Education & Research
Institute following the passing of his teacher, Rav Baruch Shalom
HaLevi Ashlag (Rabash). He named his group

Bnei Baruch (sons of Baruch)
to commemorate the memory of his mentor, whose side he never left in
the final 12 years of his life, from 1979 to 1991.

Bnei Baruch is the largest group of Kabbalists in Israel, sharing the wisdom of Kabbalah with the entire world.

of Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag (Baal HaSulam), and Rabbi Baruch Ashlag (The

Institute) Online Kabbalah Education Center.
